Welcome to our new Refill Club Members! We started the Beyond Plastics Refill Club to grow the number of business voices within advocacy campaigns for reuse and refill policies. These businesses are proving that change is possible. We don't need to wait for new technology, and we can break up with the myth that recycling is a solution to the plastic pollution crisis.

🏭 Knocking out Nurdles in PA 🥊
Scientists, community members, and advocates are celebrating an environmental victory in PA after Three Rivers Waterkeeper and PennEnvironment, joined by the PA DEP, reached a proposed $2.6 million settlement with Styropek for illegally discharging tiny plastic pellets from its Monaca, PA plastic manufacturing facility.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses owners bravely leading the way by investing in alternatives to single-use packaging and products, as advocates and legislators immerse themselves in the long game of policy change. Shifting away from throwaway culture requires collaboration between civil society, the public sector and the private sector. Refillery businesses are an important part of the equation.
🧋Rallying to Reduce Single-Use Packaging in NY!🗽
On January 28, 2025 roughly 200 diverse advocates met in Albany to encourage legislators to support packaging reduction in NY.
🚫Overturning Montana’s “Ban on Bans”⚖️
Working with the Cottonwood Environmental Law Center, Beyond Plastics volunteers successfully overturned the first portion of Montana’s statewide ban on single-use plastic bans.
