Spotty Dog Books & Ale is hosting a book event with Judith Enck, Beyond Plastics president, former EPA regional administrator, and co-author of the new book "The Problem with Plastic: How We Can Save Ourselves and Our Planet Before It’s Too Late,” published by The New Press. Deborah Lans, a contributing writer with The Columbia Paper, will interview Enck on Saturday, August 8 at 7 p.m. ET. Books will be available for sale, and a signing will follow the conversation.

Judith Enck will teach an online class on plastic pollution through Bennington College that is open to the public from September 9 through October 21, 2026.
