Starbucks: Stop Trying to Deceive the Public about Plastic Cup Recyclability

Starbucks claims its cold to-go cups (made with #5 polypropylene plastic) are now “widely recyclable” but a Beyond Plastics investigation found that not one of the cups it tracked reached a recycling facility, ending up primarily in landfills and incinerators. Urge Starbucks CEO to stop deceiving the public and take meaningful steps to reduce the company’s single-use plastic waste.
